Horrid book - Deeply upsetting, deeply depressing. Absolutely hateful book. I too have only been married to my dream man for a short amount of time, and this book will give me nightmares for a time to come. It s one of the worst things I can think of come true and described in detail for hundreds of pages. Burning is too good for this - this horror.

Marian Keyes is amazing. - I don t bother to read the blurb on the back of Marian Keyes books anymore because I know that I will enjoy it. So I didn t even have a clue what this one was going to be about. Amazing. This story is so cleverly written, and it s true what has been said about laughing out loud and crying. It s also true that is does start a bit slow but that is only because we are meant to be wondering what has happened. The story really touched me and I felt I really got to know (and like) the characters. It s a subject very close to my heart and I felt she handled it very sensitively. My copy is now doing the rounds at work and everyone is saying the same thing: they laughed, they cried, they couldn t put it down.

Funny and sad at the same time - Brilliant book, couldn t put it down, but had to in places to wipe away the tears at the sad parts! Compulsive reading.

Absolutely fantastic - I have read most of Marian Keyes books, but this was definitely my favourite so far.Fantastically written and a fabulous storyline. I laughed and cried. The characters are so believable that you just want to know more about them. I was gutted when I finished this book. Brilliant chic literature without being too predictable and fluffy.

My favourite of all her books - My favourite of all her books,an amazing story about grief, family, love and learning to let go.
